Today the V&A announced that it will be opening a major exhibition of fantastical fashion photographer and Another Man contributor Tim Walker’s work. Opening in September 2019, the show will be designed by one of Walker’s longtime collaborators, the art director Shona Heath, and be an “immersive, behind-the-scenes” look at his work, featuring some new works inspired by the V&A archive. Walker shot last year’s all-black Pirelli calendar, a tarot card-inspired story for the A/W17 issue of Another Man, alongside countless issues of Vogue, while his photographs are included in permanent collections of the V&A and the National Gallery.
