Loewe has enlisted Tyler Mitchell to capture its Spring/Summer 2020 collection, in a series of photographs shot in Barcelona’s Olympic Park and now released as a limited-edition publication. The Spanish house calls the characters in Mitchell’s sun-drenched images “nomadic pilgrims, beamed from another dimension”. The publication marks Loewe’s second collaboration with Mitchell, who also shot the Autumn/Winter 2019 collection book in Toledo. Now, in Barcelona, the architecture that makes up the city’s Olympic Park provides a striking backdrop to models wearing Loewe S/S20: layers of patterned knitwear, airy linen and cotton separates, woven leather bags and eclectic accessories.
