Supreme Has Collaborated with Marvin Gaye
- TextJared Phanco
New York streetwear giants Supreme have collaborated with seminal Motown singer Marvin Gaye. Gaye – who died tragically in 1984 – had an extensive array of mega-hits including Heard it Through the Grapevine and Let’s Get it On. The Supreme collection will feature designs of the original album artwork from his iconic 1971 concept album What’s Going On, an album which commented on the socio-political climate of the time, telling the story of a soldier returning home from the Vietnam war. Alongside this collection, the brand will also release four new winter tees. Supreme x Marvin Gaye is available in-store and online from December 13.
