Bryan Ferry Announces New Record and 2020 Tour

Bryan Ferry has announced a new record, Live at the Royal Albert Hall 1974, which features live recordings of Ferry’s first solo tour, including song from his breakout records These Foolish Things and Another Time, Another Place – tracks Ferry began recording while still a member of Roxy Music. Roxy Music shot to stardom in 1972 with the release of a self-titled album that would change the course of pop culture forever, transforming the newly formed band into glam-rock idols who influenced a generation with their music and fashion. In an interview last year, Another Man senior contributing editor and Roxy Music superfan Tim Blanks quizzed Bryan Ferry about the band’s debut album, their outrageous outfits and lasting influence. “It was a bit like a kind of club that anyone could join,” Ferry told Blanks. “It was an adventure.” The new album follows Ferry’s 2018 record Bitter-Sweet, which reworked earlier solo and Roxy Music hits and stood alongside his participation in the Netflix series Babylon Berlin. Ferry has also announced a UK tour alongside Live at the Royal Albert Hall 1974, kicking off in Glasgow in March 2020 and concluding with two dates at the Royal Albert Hall.

Live at the Royal Albert Hall 1974 is out February 7, 2020. Tickets for the tour are avilable to buy from November 20, 2019.
