Ludovic de Saint Sernin Reveals Wet’n’Wild Willy Vanderperre-shot Campaign

Presented ‘poolside’ on the roof of the Pompidou Centre last June, Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s ‘Wet’n’Wild’ Spring/Summer 2020 show was an elegantly executed display of unbridled sensuality, in which models glistening with layers of ‘sweat’ glided down the runway in the young Parisian designer’s collection. De Saint Sernin’s Willy Vanderperre-shot Spring/Summer 2020 campaign follows in a similarly steamy vein, showcasing the standout pieces in the much talked about collection, including a ‘sweat-stain illusion’ sheer jumper, low-rise glittering eyelet trousers, and the instantly viral look in which a model wears nothing but a towel around his waist. The campaign marks De Saint Sernin’s second project with legendary photographer and longtime Another Man contributor Vanderperre, who shot the designer’s otherworldly Autumn/Winter 2019 campaign last year. “Working with Willy was very humbling,” the designer told us back in June. “It was a real pleasure to watch his process; to see how he gets the most out of the models... He’s such a professional.”
