King Krule Debuts New Music and a Beautiful Short Film

Yesterday, King Krule took to Instagram to announce the launch of four new tracks and accompanying short film, titled Hey World! The new music, which the former Another Man cover star teased back in June, marks the artist’s first release since his 2017 album, The OOZ. Directed by Charlotte Patmore, Krule’s partner and mother to their baby girl, the 15-minute film sees Krule perform the four new songs, Perfecto Miserable, Alone, Omen 3, (Don’t Let The Dragon) Draag On, and Energy Fleets, against dreamy backdrops of various outdoor scenes, including a power plant at sunrise, a desolate snowy field and, filmed in cinematic black and white, a firework display. Alongside the release of Hey World!, the musician has announced a 2020 world tour, with tickets going on sale this Friday.
